What we answer

• Corrections. Quote the sentence and say what is wrong with it. These are answered first.
• Questions about an article — what a figure means, where it came from, what we left out.
• Suggestions for subjects. A question you could not find a straight answer to is the most useful thing you can send us.

What we cannot answer

• Personal medical questions. We cannot tell you what to take, at what dose, or whether a programme is right for you — nobody can do that from an email. That conversation belongs with a clinician who can see your history.
• Requests to place paid links or sponsored articles in the health sections. Those sections are not for sale.
